The \u20b92000 banknotes continue to be legal tender.\u00a0The total value of Rs 2000 banknotes in circulation, which amounted to Rs 3.56 lakh crore, has declined to Rs 5743 crore as at the close of business on\u00a029<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0\u00a0November\u00a02025.
