The Tribunal held that Rule 5 of the IBBI Rules does not require invoices to be attached in every case and that a demand notice supported by documents establishing operational debt is sufficient. The respondent had acknowledged liability of approximately Rs 63 lakh in its correspondence and that there was no genuine pre-existing dispute except reconciliation of accounts.
