It has been observed that some existing SIONs of food items, contain generic input descriptions, while in other cases, the quantities of alternative inputs are not specified clearly. The Norms Committee, considering the sensitivity of food related exports and imports, has decided to review specific SIONs including E-1, E-4, E-5, E-7, E-38, E-46, E-75, E-76, E-77, E-100, E-101, E-102, E-127, E-132, and E-133, along with the general notes associated with them. The comments/ feedback from stakeholders are invited.
