While the import policy for these items continues to remain ‘Free’, new MIP based restrictions have been introduced. Imports of Penicillin G-potassium with CIF value below  Rs 2,216 per kg, Amoxicillin Trihydrate below  Rs 2,733 per kg, and 6-APA below Rs 3,405 per kg are now classified as ‘Restricted’.
