Income Tax Notification 20/2026 Dated 16/03/2026 – Corrigendum to correct title of Income Tax Amendment Rules 

The corrigendum amends notification 19/2026, G.S.R. 158(E) dated 5^th March 2026, which amended Income Tax Rules 1962. The words ‘Income-tax (Amendment) Rules, 2026’ has been replaced with ‘Income-tax (First Amendment) Rules, 2026’.
