The DGFT has notified the procedure for allocation of import quantities of Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC) for the aluminium industry and Raw Petroleum Coke (RPC) for CPC manufacturing units for FY 2026-27. The allocation follows directions of the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM), prescribing annual limits of 0.8 million MT for CPC and 1.9 million MT for RPC. Applications must be submitted online by 20th April 2026 and will be evaluated case-by-case by the Exim Facilitation Committee. The authorisations will remain valid till 31st March 2027.
