The public notice notify four new Standard Input Output Norms (SIONs) under the Chemical and Allied Product Group ‘A’. These norms, numbered A-3698 to A-3701, specify permissible input-output ratios for products such as Cefuroxime Sterile Sodium, NAS-5, Tobramycin Nebuliser Solution, and Schaeffers Acid. Each SION prescribes the quantity of import inputs allowed for manufacturing corresponding export products.
