The Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions), has approved Indian Institute For Human Settlements, Bangalore, Karnataka, for ‘Scientific Research’ under section 35(1)(iia) read with rule 5F of Income Tax, for a period of five years, starting from the AY 2026-27. It will enable the Institute to receive certain benefits, related to its scientific research activities.
