The public notice, amend Para 10.16 of the Handbook of Procedures (HBP) 2023. It expands the scope of the General Authorisation for Export of Chemicals & Related Equipment (GAEC) policy, now allows exporters to apply for GAEC for SCOMET items and chemicals listed in Appendix 10(N) to a wider range of countries. To support their application, Indian exporters may also submit their Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) or Status Holder Certificate.
