The Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions), has approved IIT Madras Research Park, for ‘Scientific Research’ under section 35(1)(iia) read with rule 5F of Income Tax, for a period of five years, starting from the AY 2026-27. It will enable the company to receive certain benefits, related to its scientific research activities.
