The notification amends the import policy, for specific ITC codes i.e. 71131141 and 71131149, which cover articles of jewellery and parts thereof, of silver (whether or not plated or clad with other precious metal), un-studded other Jewellery and other Jewellery. The existing import policy for these items, which was ‘Free’, has been revised to ‘Restricted’. The modified policy will be effective till 31st March 2026.
