The notification maintains the existing prohibition on exports of wheat or meslin flour, including atta, maida, semolina (rava/sirgi), wholemeal atta, and resultant atta. However, it introduces a limited relaxation by permitting exports of up to 5 lakh metric tonnes (LMT) of such products. This allowance is subject to obtaining a specific export authorisation and compliance with operational modalities to be notified separately through a public notice.
