The notification streamline the Halal certification process for exports of specified meat and meat products by expanding the list of countries where certification under the India Conformity Assessment Scheme (I-CAS) Halal is mandatory. It adds 20 countries, including Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Algeria, Kenya, Morocco, and others, to the existing list notified earlier. All other policy conditions remain unchanged, including the requirement that certification be obtained only from NABCB-accredited bodies and compliance with importing country regulations.
