The notification allowed export of an additional 5 Lakh Metric Tonnes (LMT) of wheat flour and related products. This quantity is over and above the 5 LMT already permitted under Notification 55/26 dated 16th January 2026. Despite this relaxation, the overall export policy status continues to remain ‘Prohibited’ for wheat flour and related products.
