The Public Notice amends Appendix 4B of the Handbook of Procedures under the Foreign Trade Policy. It updates the list of banks (total 15 banks) including major public and private sector banks as well as select foreign banks, authorized by the Reserve Bank of India to import gold and silver. during 1st April 2026 to 31st March 2029. It also lists two banks authorized to import only gold during the same period.
