The taxpayers have been provided an option to recompute interest using the ‘RE-COMPUTE INTEREST’ feature in Table 5.1. The revised interest is reflected in the system generated GSTR3B. Taxpayers are advised to verify the updated values and manually edit the auto-populated figures accordingly, ensuring that the declared interest is not less than the recomputed amount.
