SEBI Notification Dated 15/04/2026 – Amendments to  SEBI Intermediaries Regulations

The amended provisions defines ‘days’ as calendar days unless specified otherwise. The disqualification provisions are replaced with broader ‘events’ and expands the scope to include convictions for economic offences or securities law violations. It removes automatic time based disqualifications and shortens certain regulatory timelines, such as reducing the restriction period from one year to six months.
