The public notice notified the enlistment of fourteen new Pre- Shipment Inspection Agencies (PSIAs) under Appendix-2G of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP). The enlisted agencies are approved for issuance of Pre- Shipment Inspection Certificates (PSICs) online through the DGFT portal with immediate effect. The notice also permitted two existing PSIAs to add additional approved instruments, including hand-held radiation survey meters and spectrometers, to their existing approved instrument lists.
