The Core Settlement Guarantee Fund has been notified for exemption under Section 10(23EE) of the Income Tax Act. The Fund has been set up by AMC Repo Clearing Limited, a recognised clearing corporation, in respect of specified income. The benefit is subject to continued compliance with statutory conditions, including filing of return of income under Section 139(4C) and the requirement that AMC Repo Clearing Limited must remain recognised as a clearing corporation by Securities and Exchange Board of India.
